Some things continue to amaze us no matter our age! Rainbows and Eclipses come to mind this week.

I love all rainbows – the ones in the sky, rainbow carrots, rainbow chard and on on.

I remember as a kid learning the colors in the rainbow, don’t you? Roy G. Biv. Wow – I wish remembering things came that easily now. The eclipse is a phenomenon for sure. I am not sure if it is because of the infrequency or the media hype, but nonetheless glasses were ready and rooftop secured. Our oldest was at zero “dark” thirty in Charleston, SC. Unfortunately, there was cloud cover there, but Chucktown went dark. Our partial eclipse in Charlotte happened 4 minutes before her complete eclipse which also blows my mind.  Our youngest, who watched here was less impressed. I guess there is something to be said for getting excited about things as you get older too. As I get older I guess I revel in more in different ways. Enjoy your rainbow in total light or darkness however you can.
